We only use 70mm Halo Eclipse Profile for our Windows which is regarded as the one of best Profiles on the market. Eclipse Profile is made to exacting BBA and ISO standards to conform with all British and European requirements. The window takes a 28mm double glazed unit and has multipoint shoot bolt locking handles. We put the beading on the inside so that the frames are easier to fit and increases the security of the frame.

Everything we manufacture is made to meet the personal requirements of individual customers. There are two basic types of window: the casement window and the tilt and turn. The most popular type is our outward opening casement window while our tilt and turn has the option of inward opening and acts as a highly effective fire escape. Pilkington Texture Glass is a rolled patterned glass, one surface of which has a specific pattern or design impressed into the surface, which creates decoration. The patterned glass allows the passage of light but depending on the depth and configuration of the pattern, varying degrees of obscuration are obtained. All patterns are classified according to their obscuration in relation to each other, the gradation being from 1 (least obscuring) to 5 (most obscuring).

Pilkington Glass

Pilkington K Glass™ has high light transmission and appears virtually the same as clear float glass. However, in rare instances of strong oblique lighting, the coating may be seen as a transparent film. This is simply a transient visual effect which can be considered positive evidence of the coated surface being present. Further evidence of the coating's presence is through the very minor effect it has on white light transmission. This effect is so small as to be generally unnoticeable. However, when a light coloured object or material is in close proximity to the glazing, dependent on local circumstances and conditions, a slight darkening can be noted. Because Pilkington K Glass is so neutral in appearance, it is recommended that its presence in a double glazing unit is confirmed on installation. This can be achieved by the use of a coating detector which unit manufacturers or installers should have available. In certain extreme environmental conditions, low emissivity glasses might increase external condensation.
